The Phoenix Kart Racing Association (PKRA) is a facility owned and operated by its members and offers tracks which are a challenge for both the expert and novice driver. Races are typically held on weekends, although the track is also open during the week for open practice and beginner classes. The PKRA offers an "Arrive and Drive" program which allows families and individuals to rent karts and experience the thrill of the track. Drivers may be as young as 5 years old and there is instruction and supervision available through the Bondurant school of Driving. Admission to the track varies on membership level and activity desired. The track is open to the general public Tuesday-Sunday, with Tuesdays set aside for the beginner in mind. Experts are on hand to offer advice and expertise.
